Kelly Walker — Editor

In 1985, Kelly arrived at Purdue University and spent two semesters learning that he was not cut out for life as an engineer. He did, however, wander into the campus public radio station one day and about a week later found himself on the air delivering Noon newscasts including hog reports. Awkward similarities to WKRP’s Les Nessman aside, Kelly discovered a life-long love of broadcasting that has put him in front of the mic for radio stations in Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri doing everything from spinning jazz records all night to delivering the news at sunrise. He has been podcasting since 2005 for clients including Indiana University, Northwestern University, and now Auburn University, so it’s clear he has an affinity for college towns and all they have to offer.
